I think your generator has to be sat on or under a kethane tank too. Jan 8, If you need to rescue that ship install Kerbal Attachment mod and TAC fuel mod these will enable a ship to land near it and attach a resorce pipe between the two and transfer fuel.

So I activate the drill, it drills down and starts making greenish smoke, but my kethane tank isn't filling at all.

Unless they changed it? I dunno, maybe I'll try and find a deposit on Kerbin so I can do some testing before I send out any more missions. Showing 1 - 11 of 11 kfthane.

Anyway Bill and Jeb can go home now! From what I understand the converter needs to be directly connected to a fuel tank, or connected with a backwards fuel tube cos it's actually "sucking" negative fuel.

I can smell the science already! Think your drill needs to be attached to a kethane tank not just any type of tank. TAC fuel mod may give you some hope with it. Shame we dont have a Kethane deposite near the runway to test these things out.

Grasping at straws here lol Everything I read says that Kethane works like monopropellant, where any kethane drill will fill any kethane tank on the craft, regardless of position.

This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising, kethaje problematic harassment, fighting, or rude posts. The only thing I can think of is that you're not actually landed on the deposit? If I can't figure anything out by tomorrow I'll look into fuel mods to see if I can salvage the mission.

Or maaaybe I have enough fuel to make kethanee home: Although I'm sure you've checked Well, I landed in a Ketbane field on Kerbin, this time with the drill directly attached to the tank and still no kethane extraction going on.

I even tried tilting the ship down so the drill was basically touching the ground. It will list all fuel tanks and let you transfer them.

Maybe it's the way one tank fills into another tank lower down always full so drill can't feed into it maybe. I had a problem where my kethane converter couldn't feed my "external" tanks through kethzne yellow fuel lines I had to transfer the fuel myself, to free up my central tank, kind of like your designbut that doesn't explain what's happening with you.
